They’re using conventional cotton that requires more energy to produce. Conventional cotton is typically genetically modified and the farmers use pesticides that are harmful to the people during the harvesting process and known to cause cancer. I can keep going on and on here. If they really cared about sustainability then think about the human cost.  This seems a lot like greenwashing to me; its like propaganda. They start talking about how much water it takes to make clothing.
