The mental toll of I’m not crazy I prefer the term mentally hilarious shirt. The comedy blog Splitsider contains insightful commentary on mental health in the comedy community. And we saw a dog wearing a sweater hanging out with a guy holding the funniest sign. Dogs in sweaters are awesome. So are spectators who hold signs and offer gummy bears. An important motivator to writing and performing comedy is imparting levity to an audience, sometimes at the cost of an individual’s well being.
