She told me that my cousin Christian had gotten out of jail on bail last night and that we had received a call this morning, saying that he was dead and had possibly commited suicide. I knew he’d had troubles with depression in the past, but the past few times I’d seen him he seemed like he was doing ok for himself and happy.
