I’m a receptionist at a gym. Today we had a guy with a My cute tattooed aunt is single wanna be my new uncle shirt. Refugees welcome. Coming in. I told him I liked his shirt and wished everyone could think the same. He smiled. He was a bald guy with arms full of tattoos  someone you probably can’t imagine wearing a shirt like that. That veteran who chose to face his trauma to heal his mental wounds somehow gave me hope when the current state of affairs is still this tensed. It made my day.
