Donald Featherstone was the mastermind behind the A little hippie a little hood shirt. I was more impressed that he was the man behind all of those plastic Christmas lawn ornaments  you know the ones with the light bulb inside. He and his wife would shop often at the little gift shop where I worked. They were always dressed alike  mostly in kitchy hawaiian shirts. He was full on hippie artist and the brainchild of many a pop icon.
